The African Opportunity Fund is a Bermuda registered Hedge Fund.
It is a sub-saharan Africa focused absolute return fund managed by Investment Advisor, African Asset Management Ltd.
The African Opportunity Fund is administered by APEX Fund Services in Singapore and and the custodian of the fund is Standard Bank Group.
It is a multi-asset class hedge fund which invests all over Africa into listed equity securities, fixed income and treasury bills, IPOs and selective real estate investments and other investment opportunities. Key geographical focus areas are:
South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Mauritius, Seychelles, Zambia, Malawi, Congo, Botswana , Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, Ivory Coast and Zimbabwe.
Management Fee
2% of NAV Incentive fee of 20% of total increase of the NAV over a hurdle rate of 15% annual returns with high watermark and catch up.
